Carousel Bead Tutorial
The tutorial is aimed at intermediate and beyond and so assumes all necessary equipment and safety precautions are being used. It will however, help with several basic techniques like dot placement, heat control and using gravity that would benefit those with less experience as long as they can confidently make well balanced beads.
In this tutorial I will guide you through the techniques I use to create my carousel beads. I have written it in such a way as to negate the need for specific glasses or colours so you should have something in your glass supplies that will give good results. Tools are also minimal, the only item that may not be in a standard lampworking set up that is useful, is a round bead roller.
There are 29 pages in total including:
2 pages of written colour advice, including how to achieve the bright combinations I do.
Advice on perfect dot placing
50 step photo guide with corresponding notes
4 pages of Inspiration in full colour
I politely ask that you please do not pass the tutorial on to anyone in file format, printed copy by teaching it or any other way. Feel free to make the beads for your own use as well as for sale.
